Hitman Card Game Rooms and Custom Tables
Every lobby flag — from bots and friends-only to 99-card custom decks — and which ones teach you real Ranked habits.
Rooms are player-made lobbies. Press Play, then join a listed table or Create Room. Ranked uses its own Find Match and ignores these flags. Everything here is for Casual Original, Teams, and Classic tables.
If you have never sat down, skim Getting Started first. This page is the settings bible.
Create Room fields
- Gamemode — Original, Teams, or Classic. Teams unlocks Shield / Super Attack / Old Shuffle (Teams). Original is the default teaching deck.
- Max players — 2 to 10, default 5. Two players make Reverse equal Skip and teach Ranked. Ten players make Future a Cancel magnet.
- Bots — CPU fill. Off by default. Bot wins pay no Chips. Use them as punching bags, not as a farm.
- Friends only — Roblox friends list gate. Default off. Use it for Shield labs or Deck Customization experiments.
Private servers are free on the Roblox page if the public list is a mess.
Customize Match (game rules)
Inside the room, Customize Match:
- Starting Cards — 0–10, default 5. Subtracts from the deck. Zero-start is a chaos meme; stay on 5 while learning.
- Turn Duration — 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 seconds. Default 10. Ranked lives at 10. Learners should pick 15–20, then drop.
- Custom Deck — requires the Deck Customization gamepass (499 Robux). Default off.
- Starter Angels — On (default) deals an Angel to each hand. Off buries them in the deck so first-turn Hitman is a coin flip. Ranked sensei tables sometimes turn this off; new players should leave it on.
House rules you will see in names: “no bots,” “20s turns,” “vaulted on,” “starter angels off.” Read before Ready.
Deck Customization rules (gamepass)
Once enabled you get Customize Deck and Save/Load Decks.
- At least one Hitman. You cannot build a deathless deck.
- Each type 0–99 copies except that Hitman floor.
- Total cards at least 11, not counting starting Angels.
- Save named decks with a card or owned sleeve as the icon.
Chip payouts still track cards played. A 26-Future / 26-Skip pile can farm Daily “play X cards” quests, but it teaches terrible Hitman instincts. For practice, add extra Future and Attack to a near-default mix rather than deleting Hitman down to 1 in a 99-card blob.
Vaulted cards (Festive Fortune, Attached, Sun, Moon, Eclipse, Reaper, Snare, Slash, Search) only appear here. Eclipse while you are alive still grants the Eclipse badge (badges).
What to host for practice
| Goal | Settings |
|---|---|
| First Angel save | Original, bots on, Starter Angels on, 20s turns |
| Ranked warmup | Original, 2 players, 10s, Starter Angels on |
| Shield timing | Teams, friends-only, 15s |
| Inferno math | Original, 5 players, extra Inferno in custom |
| Badge hunting | Fat tables, Vaulted on for Eclipse |
Public rooms can include scripters. If someone always Cancels on frame one, leave and host friends-only. Notes on that problem sit in scripts.
Economy in rooms
Chips from real players go up with pot and placement. Bots do not pay. Daily Challenges still count cards and wins in eligible rooms — check the quest text. Codes remain the fastest Chip boost (codes).
When you are done tinkering, go back to default 5-card / 10-second Original so the tier list still matches what public Casual deals.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers players actually search for.
Can I earn Chips against bots?
No. Bot-only rooms skip the win payout. Use them for practice.
How do I enable custom decks?
Buy Deck Customization (499 Robux), then toggle Custom Deck in Customize Match.
What is the default turn timer?
10 seconds. Ranked uses that pace.
Is there a Trello for room presets?
No public Trello. Hosts name rooms in the list; details are on links.
